Member of the Fire Rescue Team Station 62 Struck in the Head with an Ax by Assailant
Earlier today, fire rescue personnel from Station 62 were dispatched to a location in Kissimmee, FL for a call for service. The caller advised a woman was having trouble breathing. While administering treatment to the patient, the woman’s son exited the home with an ax in his hand and struck a member of the fire rescue team in the head. The victim is currently receiving treatment at Osceola County Regional Hospital and is in stable condition.
The assailant is in custody. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
