Osceola County, FL – On August 15, 2023, Ruby Ortiz was arrested for her involvement in an Attempted Murder at a hotel in Kissimmee.
On August 4, 2023, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service at the Knights Inn, located at 4651 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, Florida. When deputies arrived on the scene, they encountered a victim who had been shot multiple times. The victim was immediately transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Violent Crimes Unit identified and arrested Ruby Sky Ortiz (DOB 01/06/2000) for her involvement in the investigation. She was charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, Possession of a firearm during a commission of a felony, Improper Display of a Firearm, Discharging a Firearm in public, and Failure to Appear for No Valid Driver’s License. Ruby Sky Ortiz was booked on a zero bond in the Osceola County Department of Corrections.
