Osceola County(August 18, 2020) On August 18, 2020, at approximately 0900 hours, members from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Tourist Policing Unit responded to 3034 Rob Way Kissimmee, Florida, in reference to serving arrest warrants and a search warrant. The arrests warrants were for Tiara Shanta Renee Banks and Craig Renault Parham for Scheme to Defraud.
Detectives made contact with Banks on a traffic stop and took her into custody without incident. When detectives attempted to make contact with Parham at the residence, he refused to come out and began to barricade the windows and doors. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and Negotiators responded to the scene. Initially, Parham refused to exit the residence where he was inside with two juveniles and two adults. After approximately an hour and a half, Parham exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident. No one was injured and the residence was secured. Banks was arrested for the Scheme to Defraud warrant and was transported to the Osceola County Jail, where she is being held on a $2500 bond. Parham was arrested for the Scheme to Defraud warrant and was transported to the Osceola County Jail, where he is being held on a $1000 bond. Parham has an additional warrant out of Sarasota County for Fraudulent Use of Personal Information and Grand Theft. This is still an ongoing investigation.
