On March 11, 2024, deputies responded to 850 Cypress Parkway, South State Bank in reference to a bank robbery. Contact was made with the victim/bank teller who advised she was working the counter and assisting different customers. A black male approached the counter and immediately pulled out a note, demanding money. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of U. S. currency. The suspect then ran out of the business. The suspect was last seen wearing a camouflage hat, blue pullover jacket, and blue pants. At this time, this is an ongoing investigation.
